The reference library of the Institute at the headquarter is enriched with30,495 printed books that include mainly those publications which now fall under the category of out of print namely; Anand mala Sanskrit series, Kavyamala Sanskrit Series, Chaukhamba Sanskrit Series, Publications of Archeological Survey of India and State museums, different series of Jain publications of Surat, Bhavanagar, Patan, Calcutta & Bombay etc.
Similarly the century-old volumes of the Annals of Bhandarkar Oriental Institute, proceedings of all India Oriental Conferences Indian History Congress, Indian History quarterly, Journal of Indian History, Epigraphica Indica & Journals of Research Institutes of Hoshiarpur, Vadodara & Allahabad are of immense value for the scholars as these are not easily accessible else where.
